I will help you identify and work toward the changes you want in your life and relationships, while providing you the skills and tools to become more confident, mindful, resilient, and compassionate toward yourself and others in your life.

I create a safe environment to help you realize your inner strength to make positive adjustments by developing self-love and self-trust. My main focus is on helping you heal from any challenges you may be facing. 

Depression, anxiety, grief and loss, body image concerns, healthy relationships, addiction and personal identity are primary topics I treat. For today’s world, I also address such feelings as feeling sad and not knowing why; feeling not good enough; feeling like you are holding yourself back. Other things I also address in therapy are life transitions, relationship challenges, various life stressors, boundaries, as well as providing various coping strategies. My approach to counseling is person-centered, solution-focused, and provide cognitive behavior technique tools. My two beliefs in counseling are therapeutic rapport and confidentiality.

I firmly believe in personal empowerment which can increase self-esteem and self-growth. Our thoughts affect the way we feel and the way we behave, whether it is positive or negative. If you put in the time, the effort, and the work during the therapy process, you will absolutely be transformed!

 

Individual Sessions

Individual Sessions are facilitated with you and me. This therapeutic relationship helps to promote change by creating a safe, trusting, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment in which to explore your concerns, identify your primary challenges, and create solutions.

Individual sessions can focus on a variety of topics, including: recovery from addictions, managing stress, addressing grief and loss, dealing with depression, increasing your self-esteem, finding your personal power, building self-trust, and reducing anxiety. I use an eclectic approach to help my clients heal and discover their ability to live the life they strive for, including a blend of Cognitive Behavior Techniques (CBT), person-centered, and solution-focused approaches. By combining these counseling approaches with traditional talk therapy, tremendous inner self-empowerment and growth are made in individual sessions.

Relationship Sessions

Relationship Sessions are facilitated with the primary client and their partner, family member, child, or friend. These sessions are to help open up communication between both parties, which supports safety, non-judgmental, and cooperation, as finding new ways of understanding one another are being developed. Relationship sessions focus on identifying unhealthy patterns of interaction, increasing empathetic communication skills, and creating new approaches to interacting.
